TRO 3421 - ADVERT - GREGORY GARDENS, MAIN STREET AND QUAKER LANE, FARNSFIELD
Overview
Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about inconsiderate and obstructive parking at the junction of Gregory Gardens and Quaker Lane, Farnsfield. This reduces visibility and access for drivers and pedestrians using this junction.
Concerns have also been raised about inconsiderate and obstructive parking on Main Street, Farnsfield compromising visibility when vehicles are existing and entering a shared driveway, also further issues are being caused at the bus stop where buses are having to reverse out of the bus stop clearway to get past parked vehicles.
To address this issue, it is therefore proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) around the junction and either side of the bus stop clearway as shown on drawing number H/JDC/5324/01. The advert will be published in the Newark Advertiser and notices will be displayed on site.
Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 12th March 2026. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
