TRO 3430 ADVERT - BOUNDARY ROAD, MILL GATE AND PELHAM STREET, NEWARK ON TRENT - 7.5 TONNE ENVIRONMENTAL WEIGHT LIMIT

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised regarding the adverse impact of lorries using Mill Gate as a cut-through to avoid delays at the Beaumond Cross signals.

To address this issue, it is proposed to introduce a 7.5 tonne environmental weight limit on Boundary Road, Mill Gate and Pelham Street to reduce the impact of large vehicles in the area, as shown on drawing number H/LF/5447/01.
