TRO 3434 ADVERT - CROSS STREET, NEWARK - PROPOSED DOUBLE YELLOW LINES
Overview
Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about inconsiderate and obstructive parking on Cross Street, Newark, which is creating issues for road users. The current parking situation is reducing visibility for both drivers and pedestrians, while also restricting access along the carriageway. This reduces visibility and access for drivers and pedestrians using this junction.
To address this issue, it is therefore proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) around the junction, as shown on drawing number H/AL/5501/01. The advert will be published in the Newark Advertiser and notices will be displayed on site.
