The Nottinghamshire County Council (Rowan Drive and Sutton Middle Lane, Kirkby-in-Ashfield) (Prohibition of Waiting) Traffic Regulation Order 2018 (4214)

Overview

Nottinghamshire County Council works closely with all public transport operators across Nottinghamshire to identify bus stops and bus routes that suffer from indiscriminate parking. It has been reported that the buses on Trent Barton Service 3A regularly have difficulty manoeuvring around the Rowan Drive/Sutton Middle Lane junction in Kirkby-in-Ashfield and due to parked vehicles. The situation is causing minor accidents with buses hitting parked cars.

To address this problem it is proposed to introduce ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions (double yellow lines) around, and opposite the junction of Rowan Drive and Sutton Middle Lane.
