Overview

The parking restrictions Traffic Regulation Order for Orchard Road, Kirkby in Ashfield was Sealed on Thursday 18th September 2025 and will come into force on Thursday 2nd October 2025.

The no waiting restrictions are required to address issues with inconsiderate and obstructive parking in this area. 

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver Highway Services in Nottinghamshire.

Concerns have been raised about inconsiderate and obstructive parking on the junction of Orchard Road, Kirkby in Ashfield which is causing issues with access and visibility at the junction.

Therefore, a Prohibition of Waiting has been introduced which will help to prevent vehicles from parking around this junction.

The restriction is shown on drawing H/LF/4535/01.
