TRO 4316A ADVERT - MILL LANE, KIRKBY IN ASHFIELD - PROPOSED 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT EXTENSION

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services.

Further to the letter sent in [month/year], and having considered the comments received, a decision has been made to extend the 30 mph speed limit so that it also includes the entrances to the stables and the field.

In order to fulfil a S278 agreement and make the speed limit more appropriate following the construction of a new development on Laburnum Avenue, Kirkby-in-Ashfield and Mill Lane, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, it is proposed to extend the existing 30mph Speed Limit along Mill Lane. This is shown on the attached drawing (Drawing Number H/JDC/5001/03). The advert will be published in the Mansfield and Ashfield Chad and notices will be displayed on site.

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 27th May 2026. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
