Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services.

Nottinghamshire County Council has received complaints of vehicles being parked for long periods in the existing unrestricted parking bay on the south-west side of Lowmoor Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, which is preventing customer parking to the shops and local businesses.

To help address these concerns it is proposed to introduce a 1-hour parking bay (no return within1 hour) to be in operation Monday – Saturday 8am – 6 pm)

As shown on drawing H/SLW/5151/01.

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 10th December 2025. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.

Please be advised that all comments regarding this scheme, made during the Stage One Consultation period, still remain valid throughout this Stage Two Consultation period.
