TRO 5310 ADVERT - CITY ROAD, BEESTON - PROPOSED CHANGES TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS

Overview

Nottinghamshire County Council have received complaints regarding the existing layout and parking provisions on City Road, Beeston. Users have expressed concern that the gap between parking spaces for non-motorised users is too narrow. The lack of dropped kerbs on the adjacent footway means that wheelchair/pushchair users and cyclists must squeeze through this narrow gap and travel in the road until they reach dropped kerbs.

In response to these concerns, Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to modify the existing scheme to improve access for these users.
