Overview

Nottinghamshire County Council have received complaints regarding inconsiderate parking, particularly at school times, along Blake Road at Stapleford. This is causing difficulties for the buses to navigate their route. In order to help address these concerns, it is proposed to introduce parking restrictions along Blake Road and Sisley Avenue.

The proposals consist of the following:-

  • New Double Yellow Lines (No Waiting At Any time) around the junction of Blake Road and Sisley Avenue
  • New Single Yellow Lines (No Waiting Monday to Friday 8 am – 4.30 pm) along the north-west side of Blake Road

The proposals are shown on Drawing Number H/SLW/4069/01.
