TRO 5338 ADVERT - BANKS ROAD AREA, TOTON - PROPOSED DOUBLE YELLOW LINES AND SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR MARKINGS

Closed 27 Mar 2024

Opened 28 Feb 2024

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about inconsiderate and obstructive parking outside of Banks Road Infant & Nursery School at Toton.

To help alleviate these problems, it is proposed to introduce new School Keep Clear Markings outside and opposite the pedestrian entrance to the school. The School Keep Clear Markings will prohibit stopping Mon – Fri 8am – 4.30pm in the vicinity of the school during the school day and this will make it easier and safer for pedestrians to cross Banks Road and access the school. It is also proposed to introduce junction protection markings (Double Yellow Lines) around the junctions of Goodwood Road and Sandown Road along with extending the length on the south-west side of Seaburn Road, as shown on drawing H/SLW/4391/01/A.
