TRO 5353 SEALED ORDER - MEADOW ROAD AREA, BEESTON - DOUBLE YELLOW LINES AND BUS STOP CLEARWAY

Overview

The parking restrictions Traffic Regulation Order for Meadow Road Area, Beeston was Sealed on Monday 5th Janauary 2026 and will come into force on Monday 12th January 2026. The no waiting restrictions are required to address issues with inconsiderate and obstructive parking in the area.

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about inconsiderate and obstructive parking at the junctions of Meadow Road with Appleton Road, Cornwall Avenue, Elswick Drive, Lockwood Close, Longlands Road, Roy Avenue and Suffolk Avenue which is causing issues with access and visibility at these junctions.

To help alleviate these problems, No Waiting At Any Time (Double Yellow Lines) have been introduced at the above locations.  A new 15 metre Bus Stop Clearway to be in operation Monday to Saturday 7am – 7pm has also been introduced. The restrictions are shown on Drawing H/SLW/4549/01 Rev B.
