TRO 5356 ADVERT - KENILWORTH ROAD, BEESTON - PROPOSED RESIDENTS PARKING SCHEME

Overview

Letters were sent to residents on 11th October 2023 asking whether or not there was support of a Residents Parking Scheme (RPS). The questionnaires were sent to to 25 properties on Kenilworth Road, Beeston. There were a total of 15 questionnaires returned (60 %), 12 of these (80%) were  in favour, 3 of these (20%) were are against the proposals. In order for the County Council to consider the introduction of a RPS there has to be 35% of the questionnaires returned and of these 65% must be in favour.

As the returns from the residents meets the criteria, the next stage of the process is to formally consult on the proposals to introduce a RPS which would be operation Mon – Sat 9am - 10am and 3pm - 4pm.

The proposed double yellow lines would prohibit waiting by all vehicles at all times. The proposals would remove non-resident parking from Kenilworth Road.
