Overview
Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver Highway Services.
Nottinghamshire County Council has received complaints of obstructive and inconsiderate parking along Vickery Way, Chilwell which is causing issues with HGV’s getting access to industrial units. To help alleviate the problems it is proposed to introduce double yellow lines (‘No Waiting at Any Time.’) restrictions.
Further to the initial consultation letter of 28th August 2025, the next stage of the consultation is to publicly advertise the scheme. The notice will be published in the Nottingham Post and notices will be fixed on site. A plan showing the proposals is attached (Drawing Number H/CLW/5075/01) along with a copy of the site notice.
Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 21st November 2025 procedures at the appropriate time.
Please be advised that all comments regarding this scheme, made during the stage one consultation period, still remain valid throughout this stage two consultation period.
