TRO 7266 ADVERT - SOUTHCLIFFE ROAD, CARLTON - PROPOSED NO STOPPING ON ENTRANCE CLEARWAY

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about inconsiderate and obstructive parking outside Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Carlton. This reduces visibility and access for drivers and pedestrians using the entrances/exits to the school.

To help alleviate these problems, it is proposed to extend the existing School Keep Clear Marking across the pedestrian and vehicle entrances to the school. The School Keep Clear Marking will prohibit stopping Mon – Fri 8am – 4.30pm outside the front of the school during the school day, this will make it easier and safer for pedestrians and vehicles to access the school, as shown on drawing H/JW/4232/01.
