TRO 7268 ADVERT - FOXHILL ROAD EAST, CARLTON - DOUBLE YELLOW LINES
Overview
Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about inconsiderate and obstructive parking at the junctions of Foxhill Road East with Chesterfield Street, Deep Furrow Avenue and Rushcliffe Avenue, Carlton. This reduces visibility and access for drivers and pedestrians using these junctions.
Further to the public consultation letter of 16th January 2024 after deliberation it has been decided that the proposed ten metres junction protection that was originally suggested in the initial consultation on 28th November 2023 is proposed, ensuring that larger vehicles are able to enter and exit the above junctions. The next stage of the consultation is to publicly advertise the scheme. The advert will be published in the Nottingham Post and notices will be fixed on site. A plan showing the extents of the proposed restrictions is attached (Drawing Number H/MW/4265/01) along with a copy of the site notice.
To address this issue, it is therefore proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) around the junctions, as shown on drawing number H/MW/4265/01.
