TRO 7289 ADVERT - WORRALL AVENUE, ARNOLD - PROPOSED TRAFFIC CALMING AND RELOCATED PARKING BAYS

Closes 14 Nov 2025

Opened 17 Oct 2025

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Nottinghamshire County Council have received reports of collisions in the vicinity of the zebra crossing on Worrall Avenue / Front Street, Arnold.

To help address this issue, it is therefore proposed to introduce a round top raised traffic calming hump to help reduce the approach speeds to the zebra crossing. This measure is intended to reduce vehicle speeds on the approach to the crossing and improve safety for pedestrians.

To facilitate the installation of the traffic calming hump, it will be necessary to relocate the existing disabled parking and 30 minute parking bays approximately 4 metres east of their current positions. These changes are shown on drawing number TP2550307-VIA-HGN-ZZ-DR-CH-00001.

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 14th November 2025. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
