TRO 7302 ADVERT - SOUTHDALE ROAD CARLTON - PROPOSED SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR MARKINGS

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about inconsiderate and obstructive parking on Southdale Road, Carlton, at the rear of Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School. This parking can reduce road space and visibility for pupils and other pedestrians travelling to and from the school.

To address this issue, it is therefore proposed to introduce School Keep Clear Markings (‘No Stopping Mon – Fri 8am – 4:30pm’) restriction as shown on drawing number H/AL/5432/01. The advert will be published in the Nottingham Post and notices will be displayed on site

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 13th August 2026. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
