TRO 7300 - CONINGSWATH ROAD, CARLTON - PROPOSED ENTRANCE CLEARWAY (SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR) MARKING

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire.

Concerns have been raised regarding inconsiderate and obstructive parking outside The Carlton Academy on Coningswath Road, Carlton. This reduces visibility and access for drivers and pedestrians at this location.

To address this issue, it is therefore proposed to introduce ‘School Keep Clear’ markings on the opposite side of the road to the school, as shown on drawing number H/LF/5396/01. The School Keep Clear Markings will prohibit stopping Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm during the school day, which will make it easier and safer for pedestrians to access the school.
