TRO 8347 ADVERT - PARK LANE, SUTTON BONINGTON - PROPOSED 30MPH SPEED LIMIT AND TRAFFIC CALMING

Overview

In order to facilitate the new housing development on the north-east side of Park Lane, it is proposed to extend the existing 30 mph Speed Limit south of its junction with Charnwood Fields, to its junction with the A6006. In addition to help reduce the speed limit, it is proposed to install a new raised plateau at the junction to the new housing development.

The proposed 30mph Speed Limit and raised plateau are being introduced to reduce the speed of traffic and will help to improve road safety along the route.
