TRO 8358 ADVERT HALL LANE, COLSTON BASSETT - PROPOSED 30MPH SPEED LIMIT

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services.

The county council has received requests to reduce the existing national speed limit (60mph) along Hall Lane, Colston Bassett due to the narrowness of the carriageway, enclosed nature of the road and presence of a very narrow footway with a stone wall behind it, which provides very little space for pedestrians. An assessment has been carried out and it is proposed to introduce a new 40mph Speed Limit between School Lane and New Road, Colston Bassett.
