TRO 8390 ADVERT - NOTTINGHAM ROAD, CROPWELL BISHOP - PROPOSED 30 MPH AND 50 MPH SPEED LIMITS

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services.

The County Council has received requests to reduce excessive vehicle speeds on the approach to Cropwell Bishop and to ensure consistency of rural speed limits along Nottingham Road either side of the A46 following a reduction in speed limit to the west of the A46 Trunk Road.

It is therefore proposed to extend the existing 30mph Speed Limit from its present location to the village name plate. It is also proposed to reduce the National Speed Limit (60mph) to 50mph on the section between the village name plate and the A46 as shown on (Drawing Number H/JW/4774/01)
