Overview

The parking restrictions Traffic Regulation Order for Mere Way, Ruddington was Sealed on Tuesday 16th June 2026 and will come into force on Tuesday 23rd June 2026. The no waiting restrictions are required to address issues with inconsiderate and obstructive parking along the road.

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about inconsiderate and obstructive parking along Mere Way. This reduces visibility and access for drivers and pedestrians using this road and makes it difficult for buses to navigate along the road. To address this issue, ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) have been introduced along the road, as shown on drawing number H/TS/5028/01.
