TRO 8409 ADVERT - LONG ACRE, BINGHAM - PROPOSED DYL AND SYL
Overview
Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services.
Nottinghamshire County Council has received complaints of obstructive and inconsiderate parking on the south side of Long Acre which is causing congestion and visibility issues particularly for public transport and the Fire Station. Concerns have also been raised regarding long stay parking on The Paddock which is blocking the street and preventing waste disposal lorries getting access.
To help address these concerns it is proposed to introduce double yellow lines, single yellow lines and a Keep Clear Yellow Box marking on Long Acre and to introduce sections of Double Yellow and Single Yellow Lines along The Paddock and the junction of Walkers Close.
Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 17th December 2025. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
Please be advised that all comments regarding this scheme, made during the Stage One consultation period, still remain valid throughout this Stage Two consultation period.
