TRO ADVERT - COW LANE, BRAMCOTE - PROPOSED ENTRANCE CLEARWAY (SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR) MARKING
Overview
Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised regarding inconsiderate and obstructive parking outside and opposite Bramcote Church of England Primary School on Cow Lane, Bramcote. This reduces visibility and access for drivers and pedestrians at this location, especially as the road is very narrow.
To address this issue, it is therefore proposed to introduce ‘School Keep Clear’ markings on the opposite side of the road to the school, as shown on drawing number H/JDC/5309/01. The School Keep Clear Markings will prohibit stopping Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm during the school day, which will make it easier and safer for pedestrians to access the school. The advert will be published in the Nottingham Post and notices will be displayed on site.
Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 2nd March 2026. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
