TRO2254 - ADVERT - ELKESLEY ROAD AND KIRTON CLOSE, MEDEN VALE - PROPOSED DOUBLE YELLOW LINES

Overview

Concerns have been raised regarding a stretch of double yellow lines, which are no longer required along Elkesley Road due to the Colliery having closed down. They are causing parking issues for residents and visitors.

To address this issue, it is proposed to remove a section of the ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) along both sides of the road, and introduce H Bar markings across the vehicular access of each private property. It is also proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions around the junction of Kirton Close, for junction protection purposes.
