TRO2254A - ADVERT - ELKESLEY ROAD AND KIRTON CLOSE, MEDEN VALE - PROPOSED DOUBLE YELLOW LINES

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised regarding a stretch of double yellow lines which are no longer required along Elkesley Road due to the Colliery having closed down. They are causing parking issues for residents and visitors.

To address this issue, it is proposed to remove a section of the ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) along the south-west side of the road. It is also proposed to extend the Double Yellow Lines around the junction of Kirton Close.
