TRO2267 - EGMANTON ROAD AND THORPE ROAD, MANSFIELD - PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND HUMPED ZEBRA CROSSING - PUBLIC ADVERT

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. As part of a new development in the area, there are plans to join Thorpe Road and Egmanton Road with a new section of carriageway. This will be going round a bend which has the potential to be subject to obstructive parking in the future.

To address this issue, it is proposed to introduce Double Yellow Lines and a Bus Stop Clearway, as well as a humped zebra crossing and zig zag markings (No Stopping or Waiting at any time) to make the area more accessible for pedestrians. These proposals can be seen on the attached drawing H/MW/4582/01.
