TRO8376 - THE BANKS AREA, BINGHAM (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) - SEALED ORDER

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. The county council received requests to modify the speed limit on and around The Banks in Bingham. An assessment of the previous speed limit was carried out and it was confirmed that the sections of road including The Banks, Melwyn Drive, Banks Crescent and Fisher Lane are suitable for a 20mph Speed Limit, which will help to improve road safety around the school.

A 20mph Speed Limit has therefore been introduced on the above-mentioned roads. A plan showing the extents of the 20mph speed limit can be found on Drawing Number H/MW/4498/01.
