SEND Co-production Charter Survey

Closed 20 Aug 2018

Opened 9 Jul 2018

Overview

This survey is for parents, carers, children and young people who have experienced SEND services.

Co-production is a way of working that brings families and professionals together to review and shape provision. It ensures the following:

  • Honesty
  • Being listened to
  • Promotes positive working relationships
  • Strong communication
  • Improved services for families

Why your views matter

To ensure our commitment to co-production is embedded, Nottinghamshire County Council alongside key stakeholders, wants to develop a Co-production Charter with parents, carers, children and young people as well as key partners from across Education, Health and Social Care.

Developing a Co-production Charter is more than creating a set of standards, it’s about developing a new way of working to enhance family’s experiences of services across Nottinghamshire.

This survey gives families the opportunity to share their experiences so we can ensure the Co-production Charter reflects the opinions of families.

Additional work is being carried out with young people, to understand what it is like to be a child/young person living in Nottinghamshire with SEND.

This survey takes a few minutes to complete and closes at midnight on Monday 20 August 2018.

A summary of the findings will be provided on the Local Offer, or if requested a copy of the findings will be emailed to you by 1 September 2018.
