B6386 WESTGATE, SOUTHWELL - PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSING

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council is proposing to install a zebra crossing on B6386 Westgate, Southwell between Coghill Court and Hillside Drive.

The proposed zebra crossing will have a controlled area, indicated by zig-zag markings, along the carriageway where stopping, parking and loading will be prohibited. The crossing is being installed to improve pedestrian facilities and reduce traffic speeds on approaches to the proposed crossing at this location.

As required under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (zebra crossing), I hereby enclose for your attention the statutory public notice stating the County Council’s intention to introduce the zebra crossing on B6386 Westgate, Southwell.
