NNS162 - SEALED ORDER - TRO 3426 - Preston Road, Rainworth - Double Yellow Lines

Overview

The parking restrictions Traffic Regulation Order for Preston Road and Station Road, Rainworth was Sealed on Wednesday 29th July 2026 and will come into force on Friday 7th August 2026. The no waiting restrictions are required to address issues with inconsiderate and obstructive parking along the road.

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about inconsiderate and obstructive parking at the junction of Station Road and Preston Road, Rainworth. This reduces visibility, access for drivers and pedestrians using this junction, and makes it difficult for buses to manoeuvre out the junction.

To address this issue, the proposals have been introduced ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) around the junction, as shown on drawing number H/SH/5351/01.
