SEALED ORDER - A638 London Road, Retford - 30mph Speed Limit (Restricted Road) Order

Overview

The 30 mph speed limit has been extended southwards to a point just north of the bridge over the East Coast Main Line railway. The new speed limit includes the built up length of London Road and would reduce the speed of traffic passing the many driveways and minor junctions. The lower speeds will improve the environment for the vulnerable users on London Road, i.e. cyclists and pedestrians. The previous speed limit on the A638 was 40mph.
