SEALED ORDER DOCUMENTS - Willow Lane, Gedling - Double Yellow Lines

Closed 5 Nov 2021

Opened 20 Sep 2021

Overview

The double yellow lines have been introduced to remove parked vehicles from the bend between the old railway bridge and Willow Crescent and at the junction of Willow Lane and Willow Crescent. The removal of parking will help ensure that when vehicles are heading in a north-easterly direction they do not encounter traffic on their side of the road. The restrictions at the junction will improve visibility for vehicles turning into or out of Willow Crescent and keep the junction clear for pedestrians crossing the road. The restrictions are intended to improve conditions for pupils attending the Willow Farm Primary School. The double yellow lines on the north-east side of Willow Crescent have been reduced in length from 10 metres to 7 metres to allow the resident to park across their driveway.
