TRO 1278A ADVERT - DEVONSHIRE STREET, WORKSOP - PROPOSED DOUBLE YELLOW LINES AND BUS STOP CLEARWAY
Overview
Via East Midlands Ltd, working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council, is proposing to introduce additional parking restrictions along Devonshire Street. The double yellow lines (no waiting at any time) would be placed at the narrowest part of the road to help ensure that larger vehicles can safely pass along Devonshire Street. The proposed restrictions will also help ensure that the area outside the school is kept clear of parked vehicles during the school day.
The existing bus stop markings would be converted into an enforceable bus stop clearway, operating during the same times as the school keep clear markings; that is, no stopping Monday to Friday between 8am and 4.30pm. The extents of both restrictions can be seen on drawing H/CLW/4061/103.
Due to administrative and operational limitations, the original consultation could not be sealed to make it enforceable. Therefore, we will be readvertising this scheme to ensure transparency. The advert will be published in the Worksop Guardian and notices will be displayed on site.
Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email by, 17th July 2026. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
