TRO 1343 ADVERT - SOUTH STREET AND THRUMPTON LANE, RETFORD - PROPOSED DOUBLE YELLOW LINES

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about inconsiderate and obstructive parking on Thrumpton Lane at its junctions of Meden Way and Whinney Moor Way, Retford and on South Street, Retford. This reduces visibility and access for drivers and pedestrians using these roads/ junctions.

To address this issue, it is therefore proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) around the junction, as shown on drawing number H/CLW/5424/01. The advert will be published in the Retford Times and notices will be displayed on site.

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email by, 30th July 2026. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
