TRO 3431 ADVERT - BURGAGE LANE, SOUTHWELL - PROPOSED DOUBLE YELLOW LINES

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised regarding inconsiderate and obstructive parking at the junction of Burgage Road and Burgage Close, Southwell. Parking at this location is affecting residents to safely access and egress their properties.

To address this issue, it is therefore proposed to remove the existing H-Bar markings at the junction and to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) around the junction, as shown on drawing number H/AL/5450/01. The advert will be published in the Newark Advertiser and notices will be displayed on site.

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 10th Septemer 2026. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
