TRO 7284 SEALED ORDER - A60 MANSFIELD ROAD, PAPPLEWICK - 40MPH SPEED LIMIT

Overview

The 40 mph Speed Limit Order for A60 Mansfield Road, Papplewick was Sealed on Wednesday 15th April 2026 and will come into force on Tuesday 21st April 2026.  The 40mph Speed Limit has been introduced to improve road safety for all road users to ensure it is more in keeping with the character of the road.

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services.

Nottinghamshire County Council has received reports of accidents along the A60 at Papplewick. The road was subject to a 50mph speed Limit which was not deemed appropriate for this stretch of road with adjacent residential properties. Therefore the 40mph Speed Limit has been extended approximately 800 metres north as shown on drawing H/SLW/5109/01.
