TRO 7289 SEALED ORDER - WORRALL AVENUE, ARNOLD, PARKING PLACES

Overview

The parking restrictions Traffic Regulation Order for Worrall Avenue, Arnold was Sealed on Monday 13th July 2026 and will come into force on Monday 20th July 2026. The restrictions are required to reduce approach speeds to the zebra crossing to help improve road safety.

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Nottinghamshire County Council have received reports of collisions in the vicinity of the zebra crossing on Worrall Avenue / Front Street, Arnold.

To help address this issue, a round top raised traffic calming hump has been installed to help reduce the approach speeds to the zebra crossing. This measure is intended to reduce vehicle speeds on the approach to the crossing and improve safety for pedestrians.

To facilitate the installation of the traffic calming hump, the existing disabled parking and 30-minute parking bays has been relocated approximately 4 metres south-east of their current positions. These changes are shown on drawing number TP2550307-VIA-HGN-ZZ-DR-CH-00001.
