Opened 31 Jul 2025

Overview

The parking restrictions Traffic Regulation Order for Rectory Drive, Upper Broughton was Sealed on Friday 25th July 2025 and will come into force on Thursday 31st July 2025. The restrictions have been introduced to deal with inconsiderate parking along the roads, which is causing obstructions and affecting emergency services and residents to access properties.

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about inconsiderate and obstructive parking along Rectory Drive and Chapel Lane at Upper Broughton. This is causing an obstruction for emergency services and residents to access their properties. There are also concerns of parking on the A606 Main Road Road and A606 Melton Road which is restricting visibility when exiting the junction.

To help address this issue, double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) restrictions have been introduced along the roads as shown on the attached plan (Drawing number H/SLW/4411/01).

A new 15 metre Bus Stop Clearway has been introduced to be in operation Monday to Saturday 7am – 7pm.
