Overview

The Speed Limit Order for Harby Road, Colston Bassett was Sealed on Thursday 14th August 2025 and will come into force on Thursday 21st August 2025. 

Nottinghamshire County Council has received requests to extend the existing 30mph Speed Limit along Harby Lane, Colston Bassett. The presence of properties and a busy Dairy suggest that a 30mph speed limit would be more suitable and will be in keeping with the character of the road.

The 30 mph Speed Limit has been introduced to reduce the speed of traffic in the area and is more in keeping with the character of the road as shown on the drawing (Drawing Number H/SLW/4956/01).
