TRO 8427 ADVERT - BINGHAM ROAD AREA, RADCLIFFE ON TRENT - PROHIBITION OF WAITING

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire.

Concerns have been raised about inconsiderate and obstructive parking at several junctions along Bingham Road, Radcliffe on Trent, particularly near Bingham Road Playing Fields. These issues are most prevalent at weekends during football activities and are reducing visibility and access for both drivers and pedestrians. They are also causing difficulties for buses travelling along their route.

To address these issues, it is proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (double yellow lines) at the affected junctions, along with ‘No Waiting Saturday and Sunday, 9am–1pm’ restrictions (single yellow lines) to support safe bus access. These changes are shown on drawing number H/LF/5360/01. 

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 14th August 2026. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
