Grove Street/Beardsall's Row, Retford

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about the obstructive parking at Beardsall’s Row, Retford. This causes manouvering issues for buses turning from Retford Bus Station.

To address this issue, it is therefore proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting/Loading At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) around the junction, as shown on drawing number H/NG/4967/03. The advert will be published on 12th March 2026 and notices will be displayed on site.

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 9th April 2026. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
