Cross Street, Arnold - Proposed Humped Zebra Crossing and Parking Restrictions

Overview

The consultation is on the proposed installation of a humped zebra crossing on Cross Street, Arnold. The crossing would be adjacent to the Arnold Mill School entrance and would provide a safer place for pedestrians, especially school children, to cross the road. In addition there are proposals for double yellow lines at the junction with Galway Road and on the approach to the new crossing. One of the existing bus stops is to be relocated and both are to have raised kerbs and bus stop clearways.
